Visions Federal Credit Union is launching Amor Visionario, a new Spanish-language radionovela campaign created to connect Reading’s Hispanic and Latino community with approachable, culturally relevant financial education and services. The 12-week campaign begins October 1 and will air on Centro Hispano’s radio station, WXAC 91.3 FM.
Blending melodrama, comedy, and familiar telenovela-inspired twists, this entertaining serialized audio story brings everyday financial topics to life. Across 12 episodes, listeners will follow engaging characters while learning about practical subjects such as managing a budget, building credit, opening accounts, using mobile banking, and exploring personal, auto, home, and small-business lending options.
“At Visions Federal Credit Union, we believe financial education and opportunity should be accessible to everyone. Amor Visionario is designed to make financial information more relatable by delivering it in Spanish, through stories that reflect the experiences, priorities, and aspirations of the community. “Financial decisions can feel overwhelming, especially when information does not reflect people’s language, experiences or goals,” said Tim Strong, AVP Branding & Community Impact. “This campaign meets people in a trusted community space with stories that are engaging, relatable, and useful. We invite the community to tune in for all 12 episodes of Amor Visionario and discover resources that can support their financial journey.”
Episodes of Amor Visionario, along with additional Spanish-language financial education tools, will be available at es.visionsfcu.org/radionovela.
