Our commitment to community extends beyond savings and loans. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we’re all about people helping people. That’s why we have our Visions Cares program, dedicated to supporting the organizations and causes that make our community a great place to own a business or raise a family.This year alone, through Visions Cares, we’ve contributed more than $1 million to causes that directly impact our members and surrounding communities. We’ve made a tremendous impact in 2025 through our variety of unique programs and giveback efforts:
- The Visions Veterans Program hosted local events, provided fee waivers for veteran members and their spouses, and donated to causes such as We Agape You’s Veterans Rehabilitation Program
- Our Visions Loves Educators program awarded hundreds of grants to support classroom projects at the K-12 levels and offset educators’ out-of-pocket expenses
- We helped members and nonmembers with our free financial wellness counseling and seminars, including events offered in partnership with Reading Hospital and Berks Latino Workforce
- Our internal Anti-Hunger Games campaign inspired Visions employees to join the fight against food insecurity at food banks, community gardens, and events like the Big Cheese, where our group prepared more than 500 meals for children in Reading, PA
Plus, our employees are leading a range of giveback initiatives during our current “Season of Giving,” ongoing through the end of the year.
None of our giveback would be possible without our growing membership, dedicated workforce, and community partners. We’re proud to serve Berks County and look forward to continuing our impact in future years with your continued support.
