Connections Work is a Berks County nonprofit organization dedicated to changing lives and improving communities through workforce development, reentry, and supportive services. For more than 50 years, we have empowered individuals to overcome barriers to employment, education, and stability by providing practical resources, personalized support, and opportunities for long-term success.
Each year, Connections Work serves thousands of individuals through a wide range of programs designed to help people build brighter futures. Our services include workforce development, job readiness training, career coaching, case management, supportive services, digital literacy, pre-apprenticeship training, and specialized programming for individuals impacted by the justice system, substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and other barriers to success.
In addition to serving individuals directly, Connections Work partners with employers, educational institutions, training providers, and nonprofit organizations to deliver contracted services. These partnerships include professional development training, workforce readiness programming, case management, retention services, and customized support designed to help participants achieve lasting success while meeting the workforce needs of the community.
At Connections Work, we believe that meaningful employment is one of the most powerful tools for creating positive change. By helping individuals develop new skills, secure sustainable employment, and achieve greater self-sufficiency, we strengthen families, support local employers, and contribute to safer, more vibrant communities. Through innovative programming and a steadfast commitment to individualized support, we help people move beyond barriers toward lasting opportunity, building a stronger Berks County for everyone.
