In a season full of celebrations, movement, and fireworks, it is easy to think that every burst of energy means progress. But in entrepreneurship, I have learned that this is not always true.
Some time ago, an entrepreneur spoke to me with excitement about a new project. He already had a name, colors, possible services, and even a strategy created with the help of artificial intelligence. As I listened, I could feel his energy. That spark that appears when we believe we have found something that could change everything.
I have seen this many times while working with entrepreneurs. Today, they want to launch a product. Tomorrow, a course. Then an app. Then a complete rebrand. And now, with AI, that excitement can grow in minutes. A small idea can quickly become a big plan, filled with possibilities, attractive names, and paths that seem perfect.
But that is also where the risk begins.
Technology can help us think more clearly, organize ideas, and see opportunities we may not have noticed before. The problem is not using AI. The problem is falling in love too quickly with something we have not tested in real life.
Sometimes, after closing the laptop, we need to return to the world outside. Get some sun. Take a walk. Talk to a friend. Listen to a customer. Ask ourselves honestly: does this solve a real problem, or did it only excite me for a moment?
Entrepreneurs need energy, yes. But they also need direction.
Not every move is progress. Not every idea deserves to become a business. And not every beautiful plan means there is a real market.
One idea that is well-developed, tested, and sustained with focus can be worth more than ten ideas started out of emotion.
Technology can help you move faster. But moving faster without direction only gets you to the wrong place sooner.
