Lords and Ladies Salon and Medical Spa in Fleetwood has been in business since 2007! They have partnered with Reading Muhlenberg CTC to help cosmetology students find their career passion. There are a few graduates of the Reading Muhlenberg CTC Cosmetology program who have trained and become a part of the Lords and Ladies family.
Alexia Kaylor says that her favorite part of working at Lord and Ladies Salon and Medical Spa is the education system. “They really set you up to be ready to go on the chair.” When you graduate, they put you through their classes so that you are fully prepared for success. I just really like being creative and making people feel pretty and confident.
” Karen Cervantes Quintanilla says that the company gives you the opportunity to keep on improving and learning. “I used to cut and color my own hair. It made me feel good about myself. I thought I could make other people feel good about themselves too.”
Mercades Wertz says that the Fleetwood salon employees, manager, and owner are welcoming and very helpful. “Since I was younger, I have always liked to cut and color hair. It has always been a part of my life. My aunt was a hairstylist too, so I picked it up from her.”
Sarahy Noriega says her favorite part of working at Lords and Ladies Salon & Medical Spa is being able to have a connection with clients and making them feel better about themselves. “Some clients feel that I am there for them and trust me more than they trust anyone. They talk to me and feel better!”
All these talented ladies give credit to their instructors and para-professionals at Reading Muhlenberg CTC (Linda Sayer (Retired for RMCTC), Nicole Curro (Instructor), Patricia Adams (Instructor), and Jennifer Scholastic (Paraprofessional). They also want to thank Ashley Coccia (Owner), Tammy Carroll, Michele Long, and all the staff at the Fleetwood Lords and Ladies Salon and Medical Spa. These individuals gave them a chance as RMCTC interns. The salon has helped these ladies grow and become true professionals in their careers! The sky is the limit! They are all becoming a “cut” above the rest!
