The Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center (RMCTC) is a premier technical high school, serving over 1,300 students from the Reading and Muhlenberg school districts.
RMCTC offers 29 diverse programs across multiple career clusters, including construction, manufacturing, transportation, health sciences, graphic design, information technology, and personal services. Students attend RMCTC during grades 10, 11, and 12.
Our most anticipated event of the year is the annual Open House. This exciting evening provides prospective students and their families the opportunity to explore all of our programs, meet with instructors, and experience the hands-on environment in each shop. Local businesses—where many of our students engage in internships, cooperative education, and career employment—will also be in attendance, along with representatives from colleges, universities, military, and trade schools.
RMCTC students are involved in a variety of student organizations, which provide opportunities for community service and skills competitions. This past summer, we proudly sent seven students to Seattle, WA, to compete in the SkillsUSA National Championships. Josh, one of our talented students, won a national title in his category!
Additionally, RMCTC students can still participate in co-curricular activities at their home schools, including sports, JROTC, theater, and more.
Join us on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. to discover how RMCTC can help you build a successful future!
