Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County (BCSS) is a survivor-driven organization that provides hope, emotional support, education, and resources to every person affected by breast cancer. A breast cancer diagnosis can dramatically change one’s life; that is when BCSS steps in. Each year over 300 women and up to 5 men in Berks County are diagnosed with breast cancer. One in eight women will hear the words “you have breast cancer” in their lifetime. We have been providing support groups and resources since 1994, reminding our community that they are not alone on their journey.
All the programs and services we offer are invaluable; as such, they have always been and will remain free to all breast cancer survivors, their family members, and caregivers. Programs and services include:
