23 The Aftermath of Gun Violence was created to honor my son Francisco Soto Jr.’s 21st heavenly birthday on March 28, 2024. I attached why the number 23 became of high significance in my life. It is the symbolism of my son’s message to me.
The number 23 was how I kept my son’s name alive and brought the community together to bring awareness. Created open discussion for people to share safe space and speak about what happens to families after the tragedy of losing a loved one to gun violence.
The panel consisted of strong individuals telling their stories, and advocating for gun reforms.
