One of the biggest forms of expression with curly hair is hair color. Let’s discuss the most popular hair color trends and see what your hair color says about you.
Copper curls have been the trending color for the last 3 years. If you are a copper girl, you love a good trend. You like to stand out a little and you are not afraid to show your love for art, color, and fashion. Copper girls are fun, easy-going, and versatile.
When I have a client on my chair that wants to color their hair and use vibrant pinks, reds, and purples I know that they are a creative person. They thrive in the arts, drawing, painting, writing, music, or photography. They are a fun person to be around and love to express themselves with color.
When I work with someone who loves to have blonde highlights, who requests a balayage or a bright money piece I know they are an extrovert. They usually like to lead, they are outspoken, confident, and social.
My clients who like dark brown, burgundy, or black hair tend to be more reserved. They have a core group of friends or a small friend group. They prefer low-key events and an easy, manageable low maintenance hair care routine.
These findings are strictly based on my experience behind the chair, of course, there will always be exceptions to these. I’m curious to know if you agree.
