What a true statement, professionally and personally, for people everywhere, and it’s truly an ongoing battle as time passes within the various roles we play and as we evolve!
Years ago, I chose to go to war with myself professionally; focusing on “Letting Go”. I would get caught up on how things USED to be or SHOULD be; instead of the way it was, why it was, and that it wasn’t going to change. Therefore, I chose to change! At the time, I was starting my own business with an amazing staff while still being an employee. It provided me with a major perspective and allowed me to accept more, fill gaps, empathize with leaders, accept change, and get the job done quickly and efficiently at my job… with a positive attitude!
Personally, I went to war with myself to limit my EGO! They’re Pros & Concerns to everything. The Pro is our ego may make us stand up, not be pushed around, and achieve the highest of levels. The concern is… as we evolve, our ego may elevate; causing us to look down on people… our spouses, kids, coworkers, bosses, employees, friends, etc. After rough battles, I went to war with this years ago on myself and am proud to say, I won. I hope this resonates and that you enjoy your Evolution!!!
