Now that the Summer is starting, the streets are calling our names! As a Partner at the law firm of HGSK, I want to give you some safety tips before you embark on your road trips.
- First, make sure that your cars are in good working order. This includes verifying that the tires are in good condition, with the proper air pressure levels, and that the car has sufficient liquids to avoid overheating on the roadway.
- Second, it is important that you check the weather and the expected sunset time so that you can avoid driving during a rainstorm and so that you may drive during daylight hours.
- Third, I recommend that you leave for your activities ahead of time so you can avoid the need to speed.
- Lastly, if you are going to attend any activities where you wish to drink alcoholic beverages, I advise you to select a designated driver so you can avoid accidents and any arrest for driving under the influence.
