This is like when babies are learning to walk. They need to fall to learn to stabilize. The caterpillar needs to be a cocoon and exercise its wings on its own until it comes out of there to become a beautiful butterfly. No person would tell a baby not to keep trying to walk just because they have fallen a lot of times. Nor would it be coherent to help the caterpillar out of the cocoon, since by not exercising its wings by itself, it would die.
Everyone who is on a new path and with new challenges must go through the stage of learning and setbacks. If an apprentice has leaders with discernment, they will not make the job easier, but they will guide them so that they do not get discouraged and keep trying until they master the skills needed. When we understand that failures are part of the learning process and guide others with determination and flexibility, success is imminent.
