My name is Isabella Manmiller. I am a senior at Muhlenberg High School and a third-year Advertising Design/Commercial Art student. I’ve always loved art since I was little from watching my older sister and friends doodle in sketchbooks. I was always interested in art and wanted to create some of my own. It was fun for me. RMCTC helped mold that passion into a career.
My cousin had gone to Mr. Simons’s class prior and had given me a rundown of what the class had to offer. This class also gave me a chance to delve into my photography skills, which is another passion of mine. But then I discovered a new passion, graphic design. Graphic design opened my eyes to a more attainable and reliable career choice.
RMCTC has provided me with many resources for finding a career path in art. I found a love for graphic design and the potential for a future in it. I got to experience being a graphic designer as I worked as an intern for RMCTC over the summer and now throughout my final year with them. I have helped take photos, design hallway posters, and design ads like these! Huge thanks to RMCTC for giving me the chance to be a part of this wonderful school. Even bigger thanks to Mrs. Hughes and my teacher, Mr. Simons, for seeing my potential and giving me the opportunity as an intern. I wouldn’t be where I am today without RMCTC.
