New Construction and redevelopment marketing was once heavily reliant upon 2D black and white floor plans that left much to the imagination. Potential buyers have a difficult time visualizing the finished product and often find the material selection process daunting. To overcome these challenges, marketing strategies for new construction homes need to utilize 3D modeling, photorealistic imagery, and focus on showcasing the modern features of the home and development, while highlighting the benefits and amenities of its location. Building strong relationships with the right real estate agents and brokers is essential for builders to generate interest and attract potential buyers and also strong engagement in the communities they are building. Over the past 2 years, I have been perfecting a new approach to marketing new construction using 3D modeling and Virtual staging to significantly enhance the visuals of new construction and redeveloped properties.
New Construction Innovations in marketing and design:
- Design Base models that have adaptable elements enabling multiple design aesthetics (Colonial, Farmhouse, Modern, Moody, Light/Bright)
- Leverage technology like 3D photorealistic CAD capabilities to create visualizations in all aesthetic types to make it easier and more efficient for the buyer to decide on new construction and the final design style.
- Stand out from existing homes by strong narrative creation on a builder’s ability to create an updated and modern design from day 1.
- Capture the value of your community by being the first to invest! Tell your story, their story, and support events/activities to aid in turning a development into a community, social media is perfect for this.
