Indoor Tent Sleepovers are Back, but Better!!!
This month Palo Magazine has dedicated the edition to Homes in Berks County. But the definition of things that are being done at home after Covid is starting to feel like we have gone full circle to the 70s & 80’s but with a glamorous twist and I love it as I am a homebody.
Yes, camping indoors is back. I have great memories of using all the bedsheets in the entire house, pillows, chairs, and clothes pins to make our own indoor camping space. Mind you there were five kids in my home growing up, so it was a tight fit but it’s one of my best memories with my siblings. We would bring Cheetos, A-Treat local sodas, and homemade ham & cheese sandwiches. Those were such innocent and great times.
I recently saw a post from Jaime Perez where he did a glamping event for his daughter’s birthday, and I wanted to share with our readers the grand idea that Christy Roberts got during COVID and started up her business called Let’ Glamp LLC. She has taken indoor tents & camping to another level. These are not your ordinary mix-matched bedsheets she has glamorized the experience and I think it’s a fantastic idea for girls, boys, and even adult sleepover parties. It’s also a wonderful way to build memories and just to plain old relax. COVID taught many that we need to slow down and live the present moment and I think GLAMPING does just that, with a personalized twist. People can choose from a large variety of colors, themes, and locations and that is what makes it great.
If you are looking to do something different for your kids, yourself, or a friend support this locally-owned business. They take out all the work of putting an event like this together and allow you to have a good time in the comfort & safety of your own home. Let’s Glamp with style in 2023.
