What a year it has been! Our CEO, Rosa Julia Parra was recognized with three different awards. Plus, the GRCA did a wonderful story about Palo Magazine’s journey.
- 2022 Boriken Award given by the National Puerto Rican Agenda
- 2022 De Mujer a Mujer Award given by the Women2Women
- 2022 PA Latinos 100 Who’s Who in Pa given by the PA Latino Convention
When we asked her, she was beyond honored and grateful, her exact words were as follows:
“I’m honored but the work must continue, and these recognitions have motivated me to continue doing what I do best and that is connecting the dots, showcasing my community in a positive light, preserving our Latin culture, volunteering and helping those in my community. I also couldn’t have done this without such a supportive husband and team. I’m also thankful for the readers and the advertisers who make this monthly, bilingual, and diverse publication happen”.
Thanks to all who thought of Rosa and now off to plan a successful 2023. Wishing everyone blessings, believe in yourself, and continue the battle it’s so worth it.
