I met the Tuck twins Jared Michael & Jeremy Matthew Tuck who were born and raised in Limerick, PA while shooting the cover for the September edition at the Reading Public Museum. It was interesting to see twins riding the area in skates while playing guitars. I know the universe put them there that exact day for me to meet.
The Tuck boys have been skating for about 5-6 years and always loved skating in the streets while growing up. Jeremy has been playing guitar for around 10-11 years. Jared has been playing bass for about 7-8 years. July of this year, they came up with the idea to skate and play the guitar at the same time. They purchased guitar amps small enough to carry around on their backs, and then brought guitars now they skate around to bring joy to others. Just for fun, we asked them a few twin questions.
Is there an easy way to tell you apart? No, unless you know us well enough.
Do you ever switch places? Not as adults, only as a child and in middle school.
Are you identical or fraternal? Identical
Do your parents get you mixed up? Not at all.
Do you have twin telepathy? Yes, occasionally we dress alike not knowing and say the same thing at the same time.
Can you feel each other’s pain? We can usually tell when something is wrong with each other without words and understand each other’s emotions without words.
Do twins run in your family? On my mother’s side of the family along with triplets.
Do you feel people expect twins to like everything the same and does it bother you? We feel that people do expect that. It doesn’t bother us because we do like a lot of the same things.
How are you different? Jeremy is more of a daredevil than Jared and more willing to take risks.
Is your health the same, or different? Our health is pretty much the same because we both are allergic to tree nuts and our growth and height are just about the same. We both stay active with roller skating and other activities.
