Aloe Vera is one of the best-kept secrets in the beauty industry. It’s no surprise since this plant has incredible healing powers for both the hair and the scalp.
Aloe Vera gel is made up of around 96% water, protein-containing amino acids, and vitamins A, B, C, and E. Aloe Vera gel can be used to heal the scalp and encourage hair growth. Aloe Vera also contains Acemannan. This allows nutrients to reach the cells for deep nourishment.
How to use Aloe Vera gel for hair growth. Use Aloe Vera as a pre-poo. Take a fresh Aloe Vera leaf, wash it, slice it in half and extract the gel with a spoon. You can poke holes in the gel and apply it right to the hair and scalp. You can also blend the Aloe Vera gel with coconut oil or your favorite oil and then massage it into the scalp and hair. Leave it in the hair for at least 30 minutes, the longer the better. For deeper penetration use a shower cap. Shampoo and style your curls as usual.
Aloe Vera will moisturize and strengthen your curls. You will notice how shiny and strong your hair feels immediately. Do this once a week for at least a month and you will notice hair growth.
