I will share with you the readers some of the sayings from my Latin childhood that illuminate my life and my career.
“Act kindly and do not consider for whom!” This refrain captures the essence of my childhood in my parents’ home in Puerto Rico. My Father was a physician of the people, to whom it did not matter if his patient was a member of the high society, or a humble farmer. To everyone, he would give the same care, patience and dedication. That exemplary work ethic from my father has framed my career as a Lawyer for over 25 years. That saying, and many others, have been the symphony which has played in my mind every time I start a new case representing individuals who have sustained personal injuries.
The saying that “you have to sow before you can reap” has always reminded me that you have to contribute and help your fellow man, with your actions and efforts, before you can ever earn the trust of your community.
Today, as a Partner at HGSK, I fight for the rights of the injured people of Pennsylvania, regardless of their background, and always give fully of my love and passion for the law as I serve and represent my community and fellow man.
If my ancestors could see me now, they would say, “a person preaches better with their actions,” and I would thank them for the wonderful example that their actions have given me!
