RMCTC provides high school students with the opportunity to choose a field of expertise and helps them plot their course for the future. I chose a Health Medical Profession (HMP) specifically because I was impressed with the curriculum. We grow to be knowledgeable in any health medical profession. We specialize in many aspects of medicine and learn about skills that are necessary to care for patients.
The program is an excellent choice for people like me who are indecisive about their future in medicine. From veterinary services to respiratory therapy, here in HMP, we gain an understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. We are trained in basic nursing skills, confidentiality, privacy procedures, and a variety of different things.
Our instructor, Mrs. Tamayo, ensures that we are exposed to the greatest possible environment and resources. In addition to our education, we have access to real medical equipment that is used in realistic hospital settings. She trains us on inpatient etiquette using mannequins, infection control with PPE, and safety protocols.
Mrs. Tamayo also lectures us on the need of maintaining and respecting morality and humility in a hospital setting. Mrs. Tamayo instructs us on the value of our job and the importance of dedicating ourselves to it. We are human, just like our patients. Luckily, we have an amazing teacher to remind us of these ideologies. That is why I am grateful not just for my teacher, but also for the education that RMCTC has to offer my classmates and me. As a result, I encourage anybody and everyone to join our RMCTC family.
“In addition to our Education, we have access to real Medical Equipment that is used in realistic hospital settings.”
