I am a senior at Reading High School and a third-year Advertising Design/Commercial Art student. Since I was a child, art has been an interest of mine. I’ve always found it fun and entertaining to create pieces of art.
Attending RMCTC has given me an opportunity to have a career in one of the things I love to do. When I first stepped into RMCTC, Mr. Simons’s class was very eye-catching to me. It was at that moment I knew his class was for me. I learned about graphic design and realized how much I enjoyed it. I always knew I wanted a career related to
art, and graphic design and his class allows me to prepare for that profession. The time I’ve spent in his class has been extremely informative and entertaining to experience. While attending his class, I’ve met so many new people that I have grown close to. I’ve learned how to open up and express myself as well.
I have found a home away from home during my time at RMCTC. All of my friends that I have made in his class feel like family. We’re all really close and have only gotten closer as time has gone on. I’m ecstatic that I have been given the opportunity to experience this.
I want to thank RMCTC for giving me the chance to be a part of this class. I wouldn’t have been able to gain the confidence I have now without being here. Here I am able to think, create, inspire and repeat.
