A vision board is an important part of my annual goal-setting process. With a vision board, I prioritize my goals and my intentions for the new coming year. So yes, I do one annually. I actually do two diverse kinds as I do one with cut-out pictures and hang it at my home office as that is where I spend most of my time. But I also write out these visions in a list format or a journal-like notebook and I carry it with me. I look at it often as it helps me stay motivated on the go.
I love vision boards because they are so fun to make and allow me to be creative, they also take me back to when I did art projects in school, which I always enjoyed doing. I also like vision boards because I can’t even draw stick people therefore cutting out magazine pieces is easier for me and usually, they are full of lots of colors which stimulates my brain.
I feel once I do the vision board it’s like I’m sending vibrations to the universe that this is what I want and deserve. Besides, it also is a constant reminder to continue to move toward the goals that I set. The items that I focus on for my board are health, career, business, abundance, and most of all spiritual guidance to keep me grounded and happy.
These are materials I use but yours may be slightly different and that is ok because no two people should have the same vision boards. Just get creative and use what you like and what stimulates you. I keep it simple and let the vision stand out on its own, but you can use whatever makes you feel good.

While doing my board I like to enjoy either a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. I also like to turn on a candle and put some meditation music as inspiring background noise besides doing all this feels like it’s removing any negative energy around me. But the best tip is to have fun with it, and don’t be afraid to dream big and say positive affirmations as your pasting your board all together. Blessings!
