We talk about how things have changed in the past two years and how it has affected social norms and interpersonal relationships. Now that this year 2021 is over, it is time to take a personal inventory and see what are those areas of our lives that we can improve. Beyond our physical appearance, let’s look inside ourselves, let’s do a self-assessment of how we are living. How we are managing our emotions, thoughts, how we communicate, how are our family and social relationships, with finances, and our environment.
After having spent a period in isolation, you have to relearn to gain a better awareness of our day to day. There is hope that there will be other types of resolutions such as:
- Following a budget, be prudent with your finances
- Spend time with your loved ones
- Be kind
- Be a volunteer
- Take short trips
- Connect with friends and family
- Be grateful
- Be respectful
- Stop talking negatively
- Order your mind
- Don’t gossip
- Call instead of texting
- Take a break from social media
- Be adventurous
May or resolutions be just that, a courageous action, a determination, an intention to live a life to the fullest and with purpose! And in this way, we declare a year of great blessings. And so we welcome 2022.
