Let’s meet Roberto Correas owner of RCY CDL Training with this small interview:
Q: Roberto Correas when did you start your own business & why?
A: Observing the language barrier that many Latino brothers have upon arriving in this great nation, RCY CDL Training was born. One day I got up and asked my significant other should I just quit my job and go back to trucking? And my girlfriend back then, currently my wife told me why you just do it for yourself? You’re good at it! And on 3/21/2019 that’s how I started RCY CDL TRAINING.
Q: What services do you offer & how is your business impacting our community?
A: We do offer bilingual (Spanish to English) CDL Training We give everyone a fighting chance for a better future for themselves and their families. Besides, we give them the confidence that they need to thrust themselves for a brighter future getting out of the system, getting out of the factories, and of course, better pay. I encourage them to open their own businesses as Owners-operator. We began with the first bilingual course in the Northeast area of the United States and we have the great satisfaction of observing how the vast majority of our students who arrive with this great language barrier, obtain their CDL class A license.
Q: How many trucks do you own now? And how many employees do you have?
A: Thirteen employees, seventeen class A trucks, one class B, fifteen trailers, one service truck & one full-time mechanic and we are expanding with two parking areas. We are located and based in Reading, Pennsylvania but we will CDL train anyone from any area.
