Recently I read a phrase that caught my attention and I wanted to share it with everyone. “Never put the keys to your happiness in someone else’s pocket”. Wow!!! I loved it and I think that many people need to understand and apply it.
Human beings were created to love and to be loved, but through the centuries the true essence of what pure and sincere love is has been lost. Many people think that love is giving away expensive items or objects that the more expensive it is the more you love. Others think that love is manipulating, jealous, castrating the dreams of the being who loves, in short, they think that love, more than a pact, is like a title to a property. While it is true that the written word of God says: Love is patience, it is benign, it is not boastful, it waits for everything, it supports everything, it also makes mentions of self-love.
It is time to understand that we must love ourselves. We must value ourselves and not be comparing ourselves with others. Do not live by the eyes of others or by what social networks or media shows us as that many times it is a facade covering the reality that happens in each one of us. If you put your illusions in other people you should know that there will always be a possibility that they will fail, you.
Therefore, you must understand that it is necessary to open the doors of your heart because we were made out of love and to be in pairs but remember to keep the key to your happiness in a place where only God can find it. We must never allow our world to revolve around a person, we cannot love him more than ourselves because the day that is, he or she is not here you will have to continue living. Hug yourself, love yourself, contemplate your being and give thanks for life.
