My name is David Trievel Jr., president of Trievel, LLC. We are a design consulting company launched in 2019 and based in Red Hill, PA. Our core focuses are urban design, sustainable design, architecture, engineering, and interior design. In short, my day-to-day tasks consist of daily business operations, client meetings, designing buildings, leading, and managing design teams, and project management.
I graduated from the Computerized Drafting Technology program at RMCTC in 2004. I was scheduled to attend college and already had a job lined up designing high end, fine wood sunrooms. I then received news that my parents were taking my siblings and moving to Alaska. I had a vision, a plan, but the reality of life struck, and college was not in the cards.
New to the workforce, paychecks were entry-level, and working 40 miles from home, coupled with car problems and poor choices; I ended up homeless in 2006. But I refused to believe that was it for me. So, through prayer, hard work, perseverance, and dedication to my God-given talent; I took on the hand dealt to me and pushed back hard. I worked long hours, with many sleepless nights. I self-educated myself in various disciplines and took on management roles which inspired me to start my own business.
I thank Reading Muhlenberg Career & Technology Center as they were THE foundation for my career and what was to come in life. RMCTC gave me the ability and the tools needed to go from poor grades, misfit, and homeless to an entrepreneur with no college education.
