The year 2020 is gone! I should mention that it seemed like an endless year, and each month the news and media were less encouraging. Who would have thought that with the joy of celebrating December 31, 2019 and waiting for the beginning of a new decade, what a surprise awaited us as everything turned out differently than we imagined.
A virus, something that cannot be seen or felt, came to paralyze not only one nation but the entire world! I hope we have learned a great lesson. Under the sun we have nothing guaranteed, and much less insured. I think it is time for us to do a retroactive inspection. Exercise hope to survive.
As I told you before, don’t focus on what the virus took away from you or deprived you of doing. Better times will come to enjoy a good trip, dinner in a good restaurant, a family outing, etc. The priority now must be that we are part of the solution and not the problem. Let us be aware, understanding that if each one does their part, even if it seems insignificant, let me tell you that it is not, instead we will make a big difference. Remember we have people watching us, so let’s be positive role models to imitate forever. This virus is not eternal, do not worry, it has an expiration date.
Although it is worth noting that not everything was bad because to tell you the truth, I believe that our Creator had a plan designed for humanity. A humanity that every day embraces more sin, a humanity that everyday challenges God and plays to have everything under control.
Live each day doing the best you can. Enjoy the true blessings that cannot be bought. Take your foot off the gas because you can go so fast that you are missing out on the opportunity to see the true blessings found along the way. Let’s embrace this new year with the hope that it will be much better and let 2021 begin!
