Do Your Research First
Is getting plastic surgery good or bad? It’s neither however it’s all about where you go, if you did your research on the surgeon and if you are mentally prepared for what you are going to do. Many people get plastic surgery for the wrong reasons and this later may cause even more mental insecurities. Also, many people don’t do their homework or take a risk leaving the country to pay a lot less and many things have gone wrong up to and including death.
Take your time, there is no rush: Today we have the internet, and we are able to do research on the doctors or clinics with a simple click. Check their reviews, most likely if they are proud of their work, they will show you many before and after’s. The more information you know it makes it easier for you to make a sound decision.
Get more than one opinion: Get various opinions, don’t just visit one doctor. I know someone who went to a doctor and he told her that she couldn’t get done what she wanted, and the insurance would never pay for it. She got a second opinion and the insurance paid for it because it was a medical condition, that changed her life.
Be straight with your doctor: Your medical records are so important to a doctor. At the end of the day if you lie to your surgeon about your medical past or present you are putting your own life at further risk. Honesty will give you a better chance of having no complications.
Who knows best, your surgeon or you? Prior to surgery and after surgery make sure to do what the doctor ordered you to do. Especially after the surgery so that you will heal fast and correctly. Afterward, maintain a healthy lifestyle so that the money you invested goes a long way.
Sometimes cheap means life-threatening: Sadly, if things were to go wrong and you are in a different country, this makes everything much difficult and even worse if you were to die. Do you want to be remembered as the person that put their own life at risk just to save money? Plastic surgery should be done in a safe manner. Having to go back to remove or fix a botched situation is very emotional and may lead to depression and other mental issues. Imagine you do plastic surgery to feel better about yourself and now you end up damaged emotionally and no matter what you do to the outside it will not even matter because you will be broken on the inside. I’m not a doctor therefore always consult the opinion of an expert. Ladies and men let’s be safe!
