This is the time of the year where everyone makes new year resolutions; among them losing weight. Many people also want to look good in an outfit for Christmas or a New Year’s party.
Do you know that you don’t have to spend hours exercising to achieve your physical and health goals? With just 30 minutes a day you can lose a few pounds, maintain your weight, enjoy activities without feeling guilty.
How can you achieve this? There are programs designed that in just a few minutes a day you can burn those calories. High intensity and interval exercises (HIIT) can turn your body into a fat burning machine throughout the day. These include burpees, planks, squats, bear crawls, jumping jacks, among others. The objective is to exercise to the max for 30 seconds and rest for 20 seconds, then repeat. These exercises can be done from the comfort of your home and with your own body weight.
Some recommendations to maximize benefits are exercise as soon as you get up, plan the time and what exercise you will do, have your clothes ready for the next morning or just sleep with them on. Eat properly (less carbs, more veggies), supplement your system, and drink plenty of water.
