The pandemic has brought us a little closer to virtual medicine, and we have gone from requesting a face-to-face medical appointment to calling our doctor by video call or using one of the many applications that are available when medical conditions are not so serious and we want just a checkup.
We have begun to believe more in the advantages and comforts that technology can offer when referring to our health. We are facing a new world full of possibilities thanks to technological advances.
We have gone from just looking for symptoms in Google to having tools such as video calls, electronic monitoring of diseases at our fingertips, to virtual diagnoses that can save our lives or help us with that annoyance that is giving us a hard time.
However we need to be careful, since having unlimited access to information can lead to misunderstandings, it is always important to be sure that the doctor approves the tool that we are going to use (apps, chats, forums, among others) and that the source is reliable. to have a correct diagnosis.
Some of the health benefits of technology are:
- Health consultation chats
- Medical training with virtual reality
- Significant clinical data for analysis and treatment
- And many more…
And have you used any of these options?
Until next time,
