It is difficult for a woman in a patriarchal society to decide to have children and continue her profession as well. They educate us to be good wives and good mothers and that for many means to stop and only dedicate yourself fully to the home. It implies that we have to put aside our dreams and only carry out the role of housewife and mother. That is nothing further from reality.
Everything in life can be achieved if we get rid of the pressures of society. When women understand that they have the same rights as men and set goals for themselves, they can achieve what they set out to do. A profession can be combined with raising children if the rules of the game with the partner are established. Both have the same responsibility. Many times the woman disables her partner and thinks that she has to do everything herself.
Time management is essential when we are both professionals and mothers. We have to plan to give the necessary time to our children and to give ourselves time as well. The important thing is not the amount of time we spend with our children, but the quality of that time. That time must be special and for them. Creating life experiences with our children and setting the example of a mother who strove to excel is the best legacy we can leave her. From experience, I tell you that it can be achieved and the satisfaction is priceless.
