This is Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan, and I represent Pennsylvania’s Sixth District in the United States Congress just outside of Philadelphia.
I’m asking you today, as a member of our community, to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus by:
- Washing your hands frequently with soap/hot water for at least 20 seconds
- Practicing physical distancing by staying at home and only going out for absolutely essential tasks
- Checking in with family and loved ones on the phone or online rather than in person
In Congress, we have passed three major pieces of bipartisan legislation to help our community navigate this crisis. Most recently, the CARES Act became law. It provides economic relief for individuals, hardworking families, and our most vulnerable Americans.

Please know that we have Spanish speakers in each of our three offices. If you have any questions, please call my office at (202) 225-4315. We are here for you.
We are all called upon to be our best selves right now, and to do our part to help our families, friends and neighbors weather this crisis. Stay home. Stay calm. Stay safe.
