Much has changed in recent months. This new virus (COVID-19) has taught us a lot in life and now we have to put what we have learned into practice. When traveling from now on we must take the necessary precautions.
- Let’s start with cleaning. Try to bring Chlorine towels, hand sanitizer, or any solution that helps disinfect surfaces.
- From the moment you arrive at the airport, train or bus station, use your disinfectant on any surface where you sit or touch.
- Wash your hands whenever you can and try not to touch your face. If you open a car door, disinfect your hands immediately.
- When you arrive at the hotel or stay, do the same, use your disinfectants and clean everything before your vacation begins. Wash glasses, clean door handles, windows, bed edges, dresser drawers, etc.
- Try to avoid crowds or keep your distance when possible, the use of a mask is still recommended, especially if you are going on a tour or to an attraction where there are masses of people.
- Avoid eating where the food is exposed, because you never know who passed by and sneezed or grabbed the serving spoon and was sick and although there are places that have precautions, prepare to clean even the eating utensils.
Don’t let these extra steps ruin your vacation you can still enjoy it to the fullest. For the next vacations maybe choose a vacation where there is a lower index of contagion. I recommend a beach, a lake or the mountains.
