I was very excited to see the great participation at the Coffee with a Cop event in the Puerto Rican Civic Society this past February, located on South Fourth Street in Reading, Pa. It was more like dinner with a cop since the Civic Society had a good Variety of Latin food for them.
It’s always great to see events without hidden agendas. I was there personally and I can attest that it was just an opportunity to meet and greet our local Reading police officers. We got to know them, they ate some Latin food and threw a few Latin moves on the dance floor. Be sure to watch the videos that are floating on social networks.
I was excited and honored to have been there. It is not only an opportunity to meet them personally but also for them to see what the Puerto Rican Civic Society is doing for our community. Thanks to the sponsors like The Bar Association, the City of Reading Police Department, Judge Butler for wearing the Coffee suit with a smile and to the cooks and donators of the food and cake.
