Author, Communicator, Motivator, Producer, & Actress Beverly Ruiz began her career as an author in June 2010. She wrote her first book “El Grito”, a motivational autobiography with a worldwide distribution. It is currently among the best sellers in Puerto Rico. It can be found in all internet sales lines, in all digital formats and in some bookstores around the Island.
As a result of its sales success, in January 2014 it began with the promotion through the written press, social networks, radio and television programs and personal presentations. Sometime later she began working with different organizations that support abused and battered women. This exhibition leads her to become a Chaplain of the Government of Puerto Rico and a Speaker.
In 2015 she wrote her first book of the play of which was directed towards social impact and abuse called; “Despeinada, Entre Risas y Vivencias” which she presented successfully at the Alejandro Tapia Theater in old San Juan in Puerto Rico.
In 2016, she was appointed by the Department of Health of the municipality of the native town of Ponce, as the godmother of “Almas Guerreras”, an organization dedicated to offering support to battered and abused women. This organization includes 17 municipalities adjacent to the town of Ponce.
On April 8, 2017, she returns to the Alejandro Tapia Theater in San Juan, PR to present “Despeinada 2, Entre Risas y Vivencias”, exceeding expectations, the interest of the press and achieving the success of the play. In February / 2018 a story is written in Ocala FL, where they were the first to present a Latin play, grabbing the attention of the press and the community and ending with a resounding success. In October 2019 we will arrive with Despeinada to the state of Pennsylvania. Yes, we will be in Reading, Pa, you can’t miss it!
