A new exciting partnership focused on business development skill building has been formed serving Reading-Berks County. The Literacy Council of Reading Berks has joined forces with C Squared Inc., a global business development organization, to create a 6-week workshop series that blends practical business tips and ESL lessons focused on Workplace Professionalism.
In a recent interview, Ryan Breisch, Executive Director of the Literacy Council of Reading-Berks County, noted, “This customized evening series is a unique program designed to enhance the professional skills of members of the Latino community to help small business owners develop new business, strengthen and expand diverse relationships and broaden their personal network.”
The sessions address the “professional interactions” and interpersonal situations that business owners experience in today’s “fast paced” environment. Participants will learn the appropriate skills needed to strengthen business relationships, develop comfort in social settings and gain awareness of how to put their best foot forward at all times.
