David Nazario may still be Scared of a Day Job, as his writing and speaking company is named, but he is as busy as ever. A year has passed since the Reading author released his debut book, “Make Love Your Religion.” Since then, Nazario’s speaking tour spanned across Pennsylvania, including appearances at Penn State Harrisburg, the United Way, the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Coffee & Convos and was the keynote speaker for Kutztown University’s Ujima Conference. His tour has also taken him to metropolises like New York City and Los Angeles.
“I write to inspire people to create a life they love for themselves,” Nazario said. “I want to show people they can follow their passions and make an income off of it.”
David has hosted two Scared of a Day Job conversation brunches at Mi Casa Su Casa this year and another is slated for June. He is expanding his brands, branching out into new mediums and reaching new audiences.
Last month marked the second year of the RDG Soul Speak open mic events, a project David organizes alongside Taliah Feldi and Liza De La Cruz of The Wonder of Ivy podcast. David has recently partnered with the PEOPLE Chronicles for his RDG Soul Speak audio and visual podcast. This summer, he aims to release a Make Love Your Religion podcast.
David is working on an audio version for his book, is helping organize the 2020 Reading Rising and is planning to take his talks international this year.
