One of the most difficult situations for human beings is to set goals and objectives. Goals are the end to which our actions or desires are directed. However, most people live without thinking about the importance of setting real goals and that can be achieved with a good plan of action.
Every new year we make resolutions. Most of the time we do not consider how easy or real they are. This lack of analysis is what leads us to not be able to achieve them and to be frustrated in the process. Hence the importance of setting real goals.
For each of our goals or resolutions we must establish an action plan. Decide in advance how we will achieve it and what steps we should follow. It looks complicated, but it is not. On the contrary, having a level of organization simplifies many aspects in our lives.
Where to live, buying a house, school for our children, health and many others entail making important decisions in our lives. That is why it is necessary that we make an analysis of where we are and where we want to go. The decisions we make not only impact our lives, they impact everyone who depends on us.
Remember that in the complexity of life each one of us is the captain who manages the ship that leads us to triumph or failure. When the water is calm the captain always has a plan of action to overcome the turbid water. That is the key to not living in a mess. Enjoy life to the fullest with the awareness of having real goals and not to be dreaming as we say in Puerto Rico with pregnant birds (Naive people who believe in improbable things and also distracted people, since birds do not preen but lay eggs).
