Every day is truly a gift! I was six years old when my Grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was the most important person in my life. She was treated and survived. She passed 27 years later from cancer.
Thirteen years ago, being told “You have Cancer” was unreal. It made me realize at that moment how very short life is. Following surgery and during treatment, I constantly thought about it coming back and most of all, I was concerned with – would my daughter someday hear those words. Thankfully, testing indicates I do not carry an inherited BRCA mutation.
Thankful for each day, I realize sometimes the difficult things that happen in our lives put us directly on the path to the best things that will ever happen to us. As a Life and Business Coach, I always ask, “What are you going to do to make the best out of living your story?” Share from your own experience. You have more to share than you realize. You may be the only one who can touch someone with your inspiring message. People don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care.
We all go through tough times. When you support people and encourage them through these times, you’ll be inspiring them to see the best even in the worst of situations.
