This could be done by adopting some simple but powerful concepts that will protect you while you’re using social media, searching on the Internet or just opening emails. On this way, you could prevent be vulnerable to identity theft or fraud when you’re online.

- Don’t share a full name, home address, relative names and/or current employer on a public profile.
- Regularly check the privacy settings on social media.
- Set profile as private.

- If you need to input any personal information please verify that the website is the original, PLEASE, check the address is not a variation of the original name. Example: www.mybank.com compared with my.bankd.com or mybank.site.com etc.
- Log out after doing any transaction on the Internet like a payment or shopping.
