As I continued into my curly hair journey, I connected with other women who were going through the same journey as I. Some of my close friends and I had a group chat where we would share hair tips, tricks, and product information. We had our own curly hub. We decided to share our knowledge with other curly girls. That’s how @CurlySisterhood was born!
We’re a group of 3 Latina women that were brought together by our passion for curls. Growing up in Reading, a predominantly Latino community, we experienced the need for education and representation of our curly hair. For that reason we founded @CurlySisterhood. Our goal is to showcase the diversity our community has to offer and to help curly girls embrace their natural hair. We started offering hair tips and education on social media. We do this through posts and live videos on Instagram and Facebook and videos on our YouTube channel.
@CurlySisterhood launched in September 2017 and we’ve received a tremendous amount of support. We’re working on taking our passion to the next level. Cory, Nicol, and I are honored to be part of this group and we love sharing our experiences as women proudly rocking our curls. Are you ready you ready to join the sisterhood?!
