English: 7 Tips for Getting Organized in the New YearHave you ever found yourself walking out of your house only to realize you forgot your keys? Or perhaps you’ve found yourself digging through mounds of mail or piles of papers just to find your checkbook? If you found yourself struggling to stay orderly during 2016, it’s time to tidy up and try out these useful tips to help you and your family become more organized in 2017!1) A place for everything – Don’t waste another moment looking for lost or misplaced items and find a place for everything you have. Start with a small drawer and work up to organizing whole rooms.2) Declutter – Go through any mail or stacks of papers you may have and throw out anything not of use like junk mail, old magazines and newspapers. Consider gathering used papers such as phone lists and take-out menus and placing them in a labeled three-ring binder.3) Simplify your morning routine – The night before, set your clothes out for the next day and gather anything you’ll need to take with you in the morning, like your car keys, by the front door.4) Keep lists – With so much going on, it’s difficult to remember everything.  Keep a pad of paper by your bed, in your car, in your desk—and when you think of something, write it down instantly and take it with you on the go!5) Stay on top of ongoing projects – Be sure to keep a written record with a planner of what you’ve been doing in order to help keep your projects manageable. Break large projects into small steps, then schedule these steps into your day with your planner.6) Make the best use of technology – If finding time to stay in touch with friends seems difficult, try catching up on the phone while you are running errands or make time to video chat with friends and family who live far away.7) Overestimate your time – Time is valuable. Give yourself twice as much time for a task as you think it will take. Doing this will take into account interruptions and stopping to get more information throughout your busy day.Putting these tips into practice are sure to help you remain organized throughout 2017!
